A Lebanon County man was killed Sunday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck in Manor Township.

The incident is still under investigation, Manor Township police Sgt. Carolyn Gundel said Sunday evening. An accident reconstruction team is working to determine what happened at the scene, Gundel said.

The cyclist's name has not been released pending notification of his family, Gundel said. She said he was a white male in his mid-40s.

According to a police report filed by Sgt. Gary Garner, the accident occurred in front of a residence at 2965 Safe Harbor Road. The road was closed temporarily between Indian Marker and Walnut Hill roads.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, Gundel said.

• In other news, state police Trooper Chad Dohner reported an accident with injuries Saturday in Leacock Township.

According to the report, a car driven by Lloyd J. Riehl, 23, of Ronks, pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Rosemarie M. Carroll, 47, of Paradise at the intersection of Route 340 and North Weavertown Road.

Carroll was transported by Gordonville EMS for treatment of her injuries at Lancaster General Hospital, police said. Riehl was not hurt in the collision.

Riehl has been charged with a right-of-way violation.
