A 19-year-old Narvon woman was charged with aggravated assault after she pushed her elderly grandpa for talking on the telephone too loudly.

The 77-year-old man fell over a rocking chair and hit the floor, breaking his hip, according to a news release from Ephrata State Police.

Tina Peck was charged with both aggravated assault and simple assault after the incident, which happened at 10 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Churchtown Road in Caernarvon Township.
