Mast Stoltzfus, 100, of Atglen, Chester County, was charged after a two-vehicle crash  at Strasburg Road and Route 41, Salisbury Township, at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, state police at Lancaster said. Mast, who was westbound on Strasburg Road, turned left onto Route 41 without stopping at a stop sign, police said.

A truck driven by Samuel Phillips, 42, Hamilton, Ontario, hit Stoltzfus' vehicle, police said. Stoltzfus was rescued from his vehicle and taken to Lancaster General Hospital with moderate injuries. Phillips was not injured.

ARMED ROBBERY:
A man held up a clerk at gunpoint at the Sunoco Minit Market in the 500 block of West Main Street in Ephrata early Saturday, Ephrata police said.

The man is described as a tall, white male in his 20s with a goatee. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers.

He pointed a small black handgun at the clerk and demanded money at about 3:30 a.m. police said.

He was  seen running east on West Main Street with cash from the store.

The clerk was alone and not injured.

State police at Embreeville and Lebanon police are investigating similar incidents that happened Saturday morning and are believed to be related, Ephrata police said.

ASSAULT:
Ephrata police arrested four Ephrata residents Friday and charged each with multiple counts of criminal conspiracy, robbery, burglary and assault after trouble was reported at a home in the 100 block of Church Avenue.

Police, who responded at 1:36 a.m., said they were told that armed trespassers entered the home, confronted the occupants at gunpoint and assaulted one of the occupants.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury, police said, and was treated at a local hospital.

Police arrested Dylan C. March, 20; Bradley D. Isaacs and Joshua M. Maldonado, both 18, and a 17-year-old boy.

The four knew the victims and had   had a disagreement with them, police said.

The four were arraigned before District Judge Rodney Hartman, New Holland, and committed to Lancaster County Prison, police said.

EXPOSED:
Jay Jeffrey Burkholder, 31, East Earl, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure, three counts of lewd behavior, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct Friday, state police at Ephrata said. Burkholder was let into a home in the 6900 block of Division Highway at 11 a.m. by a young daughter of the victim, a 26-year old Narvon woman who was in the shower, police said.

Burkholder, an acquaintance of the victim, entered the bathroom, opened the shower curtain and exposed himself, police said. He exposed himself a second time in another part of the residence before leaving, police said.

DUI:
Benjamin John Friel, 28, New Holland, was charged with driving under the influence at 3:45 a.m. Saturday on Route 41, Salisbury Township, state police at Lancaster said.

THEFTS:
State police at Lancaster charged Marian Delgado, Chester County, no age given, last week with theft by unlawful taking or disposition for stealing a 2002 Ford Taurus from Apple Auto Sales, 5197 Lincoln Highway East, Salisbury Township. The incident happened Dec. 29, 2008.

•Ephrata police charged Erin Kathleen Mahoney, 21, Pennsauken, N.J., with retail theft and providing false identification to officers after she was caught shoplifting at Wal-Mart, at 2 p.m. Saturday police said.

•Timothy Kelly, no age given, Ephrata, will be charged with retail theft after employees at Kmart, 1127 S. State Street, caught him shoplifting, Ephrata police said. The theft happened at 4 p.m. Thursday.

•Kristie S. Gunzenhauser, 25, of the 200 block of Cross Keys Drive, Strasburg, was arrested for retail theft shortly after 7 p.m. Friday at Park City, police said. Police accused her of trying to take two tank tops without paying.

•Jacob P. Gouldner, 19, of the first block of East Third Street, Quarryville, was arrested for retail theft shortly after 3 p.m. Friday at Park City, police said. Gouldner was accused by police of putting on a pair of shoes and trying to walk out of the store without paying.

•A Nintendo Wii, along with other electronic equipment and games, was stolen between 6:06 and 10:30 p.m. Friday from a home  in the 300 block of North West End Avenue, city police said. Entry was through an unlocked front or rear door, according to police.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:
State police at Lancaster are investigating damage to two mailboxes in the 100 block of Upper Valley Road, Sadsbury Township, overnight Tuesday. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 299-7650.

CRASHES:
A 16-year old Terre Hill boy was driving south on Red Run Road, Brecknock Township, at 7:09 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his car on a curve, skidded into two trees on the east side of the road, rolled down a 10-foot embankment and was thrown from the car, state police at Ephrata said. Fivepointville EMS took the boy to Reading Hospital.

DRUG CHARGES:
Wayne J. Pagan, 19, of Riverside Avenue, was stopped at 11:08 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Chestnut Street for a vehicle violation, according to city police. He was arrested for having a bag with suspected marijuana, police said, and he was charged with being in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

WARRANTS:
Marcus E. Wesley, 33, of the 700 block of East End Avenue, was arrested at 10:38 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Strawberry Street on a bench warrant and summary open container warrant, city police said.

•Marques D. Gillespie, 25, of the 400 block of Lafayette Street, was pulled over for a stop sign violation at 1:17 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Mill Street, held on a probation detainer and charged with tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, police said.

Gillespie, who was also charged for a traffic violation and for driving without a license, tried to conceal in his mouth a sandwich bag with pills in it, police said.

•Miguel A. Ortiz, 29, of the first block of North Market Street, was involved in a fight shortly after midnight Friday in the 500 block of South Prince Street and was arrested on outstanding warrants, Lancaster police said; he was arraigned before District Magisterial Judge Denise Cummins and committed to Lancaster County Prison for failure to post collateral.
