An East Donegal Township woman was arrested Tuesday after police said they conducted an undercover investigation into allegations of prostitution at her Maytown area home.

Emma Te-Etta Stevens, 25, of 116 Maplewood Lane, Maytown, was taken into custody after police said an undercover officer went to her home shortly after noon on Tuesday and she offered sex for money.

Susquehanna Regional Police said they, along with members of the county's Drug Task Force, had been conducting an investigation into allegations of prostitution at the address for several months.

After Stevens was arrested, police said they served a search warrant on the home and seized several items "related to prostitution," including computers and video equipment.

Michael Richard Smith, 59, who lives at the same address with Stevens, was found to have marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession, police said, and will be sent a summons.

Stevens was charged by Officer Anthony Hall, arraigned before District Judge William Reuter and was committed to prison in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.

This investigation is continuing, police said, and additional arrests are expected.
