Residents of Warwick Township will soon have a celebrity living in the neighborhood.
Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC's weekday "Morning Joe" program, recently purchased a home on Pine Hill Road with her husband, James P. Hoffer.
Hoffer, a Warwick High School graduate and Lititz native, works as an investigative journalist for WABC-7 in New York City.
According to a deed filed at the Lancaster County Courthouse, the couple bought a $290,000 two-story brick home in the area. The couple have two children.
The daughter of President Jimmy Carter's former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, Mika also reports on "NBC Nightly News" and is an alternating news anchor for "Weekend Today."
Earlier this month, she and "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough began hosting a two-hour late-morning radio show on WABC (770 AM) in New York City.
Brzezinski began her journalism career in 1991 in Hartford, Conn., as a general assignment reporter at WTIC-TV.
Prior to joining MSNBC in January 2007, Brzezinski was an anchor of the "CBS Evening News Weekend Edition" and "60 Minutes."
