Remember Goldilocks?
Who needed a place to sleep? And ended up in a bed that didn't belong to her?
The same thing happened to a Manor Township man Saturday morning.
Only Stephen Sigel, 18, of 110 Richland Drive, Columbia, didn't end up sleeping in a bed that belonged to a bear.
The bed belonged to a police officer.
Sigel even fell asleep on top of the officer's bullet-proof vest and uniform shirt, which was lying on top of the bed.
Sigel was charged with defiant trespassing, public drunkenness and underage drinking by Manor Township Police Officer Matt Wolf.
His arrest happened after a York County police officer returned to his Washington Boro home at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Police are not releasing the officer's name or address due to the fact that he works in law enforcement.
The officer entered his bedroom and found Sigel sleeping in his bed.
He woke Sigel and secured him until Manor Township Police arrived.
Sigel, who lives several miles north of Washington Boro, had been in a party in the area.
He did not know how he got into the officer's house or why he was there, police said. Police did not find a car so they assumed he arrived by foot.
