Blissful Domain, a vintage furniture and clothing store, opened last Wednesday at 1523 Lititz Pike, next to shoe store RB Shap.
The 800-square-foot store, in a former dry cleaners, specializes in second-hand furnishings, including flea market finds of the store's owner, Laura Esh. In readying the store, Esh painted it an eye-catching bright pink.
Esh, daughter of an antique dealer, says her new store is roughly divided between furniture and clothing. She also offers jewelry, with a focus on one-of-a-kind items. And she sells some new items.
Esh describes the collection as shabby chic, a style in which items fashionably show their age. She says she plans to offer design and decorating consulting services.
