Three Reading men, Jose Luis Alexander, 19, of the 1100 block of Green Street; Enrique Caminero, 23, of the 200 block of Reed Street; and Luis Daniel Perez, 27, of the 600 block of Chestnut Street, were arrested by Manheim Township police for receiving stolen property at 3:13 a.m. Thursday. An officer observed a green Honda Civic pull into the A-Plus gas station at 1204 Lititz Pike just after Lancaster police reported it stolen from South Queen Street. Alexander was driving the stolen vehicle and the other men were in a second Honda, police said. Alexander was also charged with possession of instruments of crime for having a skeleton key he used to steal the car, according to police. The men were taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $75,000 to $100,000 bail.

ACCIDENTS: County police radio dispatchers reported a two-vehicle accident at 5:35 a.m. Saturday at Millersville Road and Short Lane, Pequea Township. One vehicle was reported to have crashed into a guardrail.

•A Brecknock Township vehicle accident with entrapment was reported on Route 897, near Willow Street, at 8:18 a.m. Saturday, county radio dispatchers said.

•A horse and buggy driven by Levi Beiler Jr., Paradise, was traveling east on the shoulder of Route 30, Salisbury Township, when he tried to make a left turn into a parking lot. He struck a vehicle driven by Rosemary Pierce, Gap, State Police said. It happened at 11:40 a.m. Saturday. Pierce sustained unknown injuries. Beiler was unharmed.

•State Police at Lancaster reported a two-vehicle crash which happened Thursday at White Oak Road and Oak Lane, Strasburg Township.

Police said a vehicle driven by Marianne Zangari, 52, Lancaster, was attempting to make a left turn onto Oak Lane when she was struck by a car driven by Samantha J. Boyd, 22, Peach Bottom. The Boyd vehicle was heading east on White Oak Road when the 1 p.m. collision took place.

No injuries were reported. Both vehicles had been moved to the side of the roadway by the time police arrived.

•State Police at Ephrata said Lester R. Cline, 48, Lititz, lost control of his northbound car on a curve on Hopeland Road in Elizabeth Township Saturday and crossed the center line, striking a southbound car driven by Mervin E. Redcay, 38, of Reamstown. Cline was cited with a traffic violation in the 10:40 a.m. crash. No injuries were reported.

•Scott R. Fairchild, 34, Ephrata, turned left onto Route 322 from the Hess Express parking lot into the path of westbound car driven by David M. Brubaker, 22, Narvon, at 9:09 a.m. Saturday, State Police at Ephrata said. Fairchild stopped in the roadway, said police, and Brubaker swerved around his car and lost control before striking a curb and traffic sign, police said. He will be cited for driving with a suspended license, according to police.

VEHICLE/DEER:
West Hempfield Township police said Frank Phipps, 60, Dover, was westbound on Route 30 near the Prospect Road overpass when a deer ran onto the highway. The Phipps car struck the deer, killing it. Phipps was not injured. His car sustained moderate damage after the 11:54 p.m. Thursday accident, police said.

WIRES DOWN:
Utility wires were reported down at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at Chinchilla Avenue and Mary Street, West Hempfield Township, county dispatchers reported.

Wires were also reported down at Weaver Road and Columbia Avenue, Manor Township, around 2:40 p.m. Saturday.

DUI:
Joseph Grouse, 23, Greensburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, State Police said. Grouse fell asleep behind the wheel of his car while stopped on Route 72 near Pinch Road, Rapho Township, police said.

•Jesse Allen Moore, 23, Lancaster, was stopped at 1:54 a.m. Saturday on Route 30 at Route 772, Salisbury Township, for traffic violations and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence, State Police at Lancaster reported.

•Desiree L. Elmer, 400 block of East Chestnut Street, was arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation in the 2300 block of Columbia Avenue at 2:47 a.m. Saturday, Manor Township police said.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS:
Police were called to Maggie Moo's, 2088 Fruitville Pike, for a man causing a disturbance at 6:49 p.m. Thursday. Police said they found Terrance James, 33, of the 400 block of Hillside Avenue, intoxicated. He struggled with police, was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, police said. He was transported to East Hempfield Police Department where he was wanted for a protection-from-abuse order violations, police said.

TERRORISTIC THREAT:
City police were called to J&R Check Cashing, 305 E. King St., for report of a Hispanic male in his 30s threatening a 51-year-old black male and using ethnic slurs. The suspect fled westbound on foot, and was gone when police arrived, police said.

ROBBERY:
A 26-year-old white male said he was robbed in the 300 block of North Mary Street at 9:44 p.m. Friday, police said. Two or three unknown suspects stole a cell phone, valued at $100; $15 in cash; a wallet, valued at $10, and its contents.

•County police dispatchers received a report of an armed robbery at Dollar General, 3337 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, at 8:45 p.m. Saturday. State Police at Lancaster were dispatched.

A man wearing a black trenchcoat and dark bandana over his face pushed what he said was a gun in a clerks back and ordered her to lay on the floor, a dispatcher told police over county radio.

State Police could not be reached for comment Saturday night.

BURGLARY:
Karen Meiskey, of the 1400 block of Fruitville Pike, said someone broke a window and entered her apartment between 3:20 and 5:25 p.m. Thursday, according to police. Cash, a laptop computer and jewelry of unknown value were stolen, Manheim Township police said.

•George Bulgaris, 100 block of Fondersmith Drive, reported someone entered his open garage and an unlocked car sometime Wednesday or Thursday, Manheim Township police said. A mountain bike valued at $350 was taken.

•Someone caused $300 damage to the basement doors at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 322 Hershey Ave., by prying them open sometime between Oct. 17 and Friday, police said.

•Someone took $200 to $500 cash from Congregation Degel Israel, 1120 Columbia Ave., overnight Thursday, police said.

THEFT:
A yellow brush hog (farm equipment) belonging to Leslie Ducharme was taken from the 400 block of Creek Road, Christiana, sometime between Wednesday night and 8 a.m. Saturday, State Police said. Someone loaded the brush hog onto a truck and fled the scene.

•Someone broke into Jerry Jones Auto, 3265 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, and took numerous tools overnight Friday, State Police said.

•Someone pumped $46 worth of gas into a green Ford Explorer with license plate HCG 4569 at Turkey Hill, 2848 Main St., Morgantown, drove behind the store, hopped the curb, and fled east on Route 23 at 10:49 a.m. Friday, State Police said. The suspect is described as a white male, age 45 to 55, with a scruffy beard, wearing a blue and green flannel shirt and camouflage pants.

•A 22-year-old male reported Friday that someone stole the registration plate from a 1997 Chevrolet parked in the 300 block of Stevens Avenue between 12:30 p.m. Oct. 18 and 2 p.m. Oct. 19, city police said.

•A gas-powered blower, valued at $40, was stolen from a trailer parked in the 300 block off Greenview Terrace between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Manheim Township police said.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
A Pioneer radio, estimated value $50, was reported stolen from a 1989 Jeep in the 300 block of East Frederick Street at 7:34 a.m. Saturday, city police said. An estimated $30 damage was caused to the center console.

•The face plate of a Kenwood radio, valued at $150, was stolen from a 1989 Jeep in the 1000 block of St. Joseph Street between 7:30 and 11 a.m. Friday, city police said.

•A 25-year-old female heard her car alarm sound in the 800 block of Manor Street at 3:59 p.m. Friday, police said. She checked the vehicle and found the rear passenger door open, police said. Nothing was taken. There was no damage.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:
Someone slashed tires of a 1997 Chevy van belonging to Jonathan Chambers while it was parked in the 800 block of Pleasure Road, between 9 and 11:25 p.m., police said. Estimated damage, $300.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/DOMESTIC:
Terrence James, 33, Lancaster, will be charged with criminal mischief by West Hempfield Township police after a 4:30 p.m. Thursday incident in the 700 block of Steeplechase Drive.

West Hempfield Township police said they responded to a domestic disturbance and learned that James had smashed out the front window of his ex-girlfriend's car before fleeing the scene.

Later, at 6:15 p.m., police were called back to the 700 block of Steeplechase Drive for a report of threats. Upon arrival, police learned that after James had fled, he made several threatening calls to his ex-girlfriend.

James was later arrested by Manheim Township police for public drunkenness and turned over to West Hempfield Township police for a protection-from-abuse charge. He was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison, police said.

DOMESTIC:
West Hempfield Township police charged Donald R. Rapp Jr., 43, of the 4000 block of Jasmine Place, Mount Joy, with harassment after a 2:45 p.m. Thursday incident involving Rapp's wife. Police said Rapp struck his wife on the left side of her head during a domestic disturbance and then pushed her when she tried to call police.

Rapp's wife fled the house and called 911 from a neighbor's home. Police said Rapp was found hiding in a garden shed, holding a baseball bat, when police confronted him.

•Police were called to the 400 block of Prospect Street for a domestic disturbance and found two females throwing things at each other. There were no injuries and no one was cited, city police said.

HARASSMENT:
Vadim Gayevoy was charged as a result of an altercation at his residence in the first block of Westpointe Drive, Ephrata, at noon Saturday, Ephrata police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT:
James Stanford, 40, of the 2200 block of Coventry Road, caused a disturbance at Turkey Hill, 1904 Fruitville Pike, Manheim Township, when a clerk asked him for identification as he attempted to buy cigars, police said. Manheim Township police said they will charge Stanford, who was gone when they arrived.

FIREARMS:
Manheim Township police charged Albert Roman, 19, of the first block of Roosevelt Boulevard, with several counts after a gun was found in his vehicle following a traffic stop.

Police said Roman was arrested after a search of his vehicle turned up a 9mm handgun in the trunk. The gun was seized and Roman was charged with firearms not to be carried without a license and driving under suspension, police said. He was arraigned and taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.

LIQUOR VIOLATIONS:
Villa Nova Bar & Restaurant II, 2833 Columbia Ave., was cited Thursday for selling alcohol to a 20-year-old woman Sept. 18, State Police at Lancaster reported.

•Queen 6-Pack Restaurant Inc., 22 W. Clay St., was cited Thursday for selling alcohol to a visibly intoxicated man July 24, State Police at Lancaster said.

•Mountville Inn, 61 E. Main St., was cited Thursday for selling alcohol to a visibly intoxicated man July 20, State Police at Lancaster said.

VANDALISM:
Someone painted on a wall in the 200 block of East Clay Street between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday, police said.

•The front passenger window of a 2000 Volkswagen was shattered by an unknown person with an unknown object overnight Thursday, police said. Estimated damage, $250.

WARRANTS:
David L. Dennis, 23, of Middletown, was arrested on six outstanding summary warrants at 2:59 p.m. Saturday, police said. He paid the warrants and was released.

•Kathy A. Schadler, 43, of the 200 block of South Prince Street, was arrested in the first block of East Filbert Street for an outstanding bench warrant at 10:02 p.m. Friday and later released to deputy sheriffs.

•Mary S. Johnson, 28, of the 600 block of North Marshall Street, was arrested at her home for outstanding summary warrants at 9:23 p.m. Friday.

•Andre D. Smith, 48, of the 700 block of North Duke Street, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant following a domestic disturbance at his home at 12:22 a.m. Friday, police said.
