A Manheim man is accused of raping a woman in a Rapho Township home two weeks ago.
Steven Silva, 35, was taken into custody by state police for allegedly raping an unnamed female victim at 4 a.m. Sept. 10 at 2249 Donough Drive.
According to phone records, Silva lives at the address.
Members of the Ephrata and Lancaster barracks of the State Police Criminal Investigation Units and the Lancaster County District Attorney's office were investigating the case.
Attempts to gather more information from both the state police and the district attorney's office were unsuccessful Friday. The state police issued a limited news release at 3 p.m. after investigators on the case had left the office.
Silva was arraigned before District Judge Thomas Fee in Manheim. He is being held in Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 bail.
