Kyle Fisher and Austin Hartman each ran for a pair of touchdowns Friday night as Cocalico turned away host Exeter 35-21 in a nonleague game.
Fisher broke off a 71-yard run in the first quarter to open the scoring for Cocalico (2-0), and also added a 64-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. He carried the ball 11 times for 185 yards in the game.
Hartman, who had 167 yards on 17 carries, added scoring runs of 66 yards and 1 yard.
Robert Thomas Jr. opened the game with a bang for Exeter (0-2), returning the kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, and Sean Unterkoefler scored twice for the Eagles.
Donegal 36, Eastern York 7: Senior Kyle Witmer rushed for 229 yards on 19 carries and three touchdowns as the Indians (1-1) blew past the host Golden Knights (1-1) in nonleague action.
In the second quarter, Andrew Pacana (nine carries, 82 yards) added a 15-yard touchdown run to propel Donegal to a 21-0 lead at halftime.
Overall, the Indians rushed for 356 yards and all five of their touchdowns came on the ground.
York 57, McCaskey 20: After taking 14-7 lead behind first-quarter scores from Adrian Westbrook and Brandon Williams, McCaskey (0-2) watched their lead slip away to the Bearcats (2-0).
Brandon Walker (14-90 rushing, 3 TDs), Mailik Generett (2 catches, 83 yards, TD), Javaughn Murphy (2 catches, 50 yards, TD), Steffonte Doby (9 rushes, 108 yards, 11-yard touchdown catch) and Will Martinez (three-yard touchdown run) all hit paydirt for York while Jordan Davis threw for 221 yards and three scores.
Westbrook was a one-man wrecking machine for the Tornado with 53 yards on the ground and 124 yards through air while accounting for all of McCaskey's touchdowns.
York Suburban 61, Columbia 26: York Suburban (1-1) rushed for more than 500 yards to hand host Columbia its second straight loss.
The Trojans, who led the game 21-0 before the Tide scored, had two running backs rush for more than 100 yards.
Cody Waltimyer rushed for 242 yards on 13 carries and scored on touchdown runs of 10, 62, 35 and 42 yards. Backfield mate Nathaniel Cross rushed for 112 yards on six carries and scored twice on runs of 14 and 61 yards. Suburban finished the game with 521 yards on the ground on 33 carries.
The Trojans scored three touchdowns in the first seven minutes of the game before Columbia connected on a 24-yard pass from Matt Kreiser (5-9-1, 131) to Felix Mendez with 3:16 left in the first quarter. Suburban led 28-6 after one quarter and 48-20 at the half.
Dakotah Lightfoot was a bright spot for the Tide. The senior running back rushed for 180 yards and a TD on 24 carries.
Kreiser also had a 67-yard touchdown pass in the second half to Clark Meshey.
