A woman missed a curve on Zeager Road near the Lancaster/Dauphin County boundary late Sunday night and her car rolled over twice, Northwest Regional police said.
An ambulance took Kathleen Larue Chastain of Harrisburg to Hershey Medical Center after the crash. She is in fair condition, a Hershey spokeswoman reported this morning.
Chastain's 2002 Saturn left the 2000 block of Zeager Road in West Donegal Township about 11 p.m., rolled over twice, and came to rest on the property of American Air Filter, 33 Industrial Road, Elizabethtown, Officer Charles Tobias reported.
Kenneth Gary Murphy, Middletown, who was a passenger in the car, escaped injury.
Northwest Regional police arrested Murphy on an outstanding warrant and turned him over to East Hempfield Township police.
The accident investigation continues. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Northwest Regional police at 367-8481.
Shortly before 7 a.m today, rescue crews and Bowmansville state police responded to a crash with reported entrapment along the eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Clay Township.
A tractor-trailer reportedly struck the back of a car near the Kleinfeltersville Road overpass. The car was a total loss, but no serious injuries were reported.
In other accidents:
• Christopher J. Gorham, 18, of 1349 Country Club Drive, was arrested for suspected drunken driving after a one-car crash at 5:45 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Euclid Drive and Eden Road, Manheim Township police said.
Gorham's car struck a curb, and the impact disabled the vehicle. The driver had a minor injury but walked away from the crash. He was located a short time later and arrested by Officer Natalie Littlehale, police said.
• A 1999 Lexus driven by Emine Yaglidere, 29, of Mohnton, struck an embankment and overturned shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Bowmansville Road in Brecknock Township, Ephrata state police said.
Yaglidere had a minor injury, police said. The Fivepointville Ambulance took her to Reading Hospital for treatment.
• A sport-utility vehicle driven by Denise Vega of Lancaster and a minivan driven by Sharon Kinser of Lititz collided at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at Fourth Street and South Spruce Street in Lititz, borough police said.
No injuries were reported, but both vehicles required towing. Police said Vega made a right turn from Fourth Street but turned too wide, and her vehicle crossed over into the path of Kinser's van.
