Michael Ellis, 30, of the first block of St. Charles Street, Ephrata, was stopped in the 300 block of South Reading Road at 12:10 a.m. Thursday and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, borough police said.
Ellis' blood alcohol content was measured at .16 percent, police said, and he was charged with DUI.
•Sandra Alyssa Nunemaker, 35, Lititz, was arrested for DUI Saturday on Route 772 at Esbenshade Road, Rapho Township, State Police at Lancaster said.
Police said they saw Nunemaker's vehicle weaving, and observed her throw a cigarette out the window.
Nunemaker was also charged with depositing waste on the roadway and careless driving, police said.
•Mark Miller, 23, Leola, was arrested on suspicion of DUI at about 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Main Street, New Holland police said.
A passenger in Miller's vehicle, Dustin Weirick, 28, New Holland, was found to be wanted on a Snyder County bench warrant for failing to appear in court on drug charges, police said; he was arrested and taken to Lancaster County Prison to await extradition.
Miller, who was stopped for tailgating, failed field sobriety tests, police said.
•Leigh Earnshaw, 33, of Morgantown, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he passed a car in the 1500 block of Main Street in East Earl, struck a sign, mailbox and chain link fence while riding his 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle at 2 a.m. Saturday, state police at Ephrata said. Earnshaw was treated and released from Lancaster General Hospital for moderate injuries, police said.
•David Thomas Chilcote, 46, of the 2500 block of McKinley Avenue, West Lawn, was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants Saturday, East Cocalico Township police said. Traveling on Keeler Avenue, Chilcote stopped at North Reading Road and fell over on his motorcycle at 3:37 a.m., police said. A subsequent blood alcohol test registered .202, according to police.
•Bryan Kauffman, 35, of Habecker Church Road, Washington Boro, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol when Southern Regional police stopped him in the 3200 block of Main Street, Conestoga, at 3:38 a.m. June 22.
•Beth Biagio, 21, of Hempfield Street, Washington Boro, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana after she was stopped by Southern Regional Police at 1:20 a.m. June 21, in the 2100 block of the New Danville Pike in Pequea Township. A passenger in the car, James Campbell, 27, of Manor Street, Columbia, was arrested for possession of brass knuckles.
PUBLIC DRUNKS: Derek Schnader, 28, of the 100 block of Main Street, Landisville, was cited for public drunkenness in the 400 block of North Duke Street at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, city police said.
•Michael J. Mullen, 38, of the 200 block of East Main Street, Mount Joy, was cited for public drunkenness after he was found passed out in the first block of South Duke Street at 12:28 a.m. Saturday, city police said.
•Cecilio A. Mercado, 53, of the 400 block of South New Street, was found passed out in the 100 block of North Queen Street at 3:54 p.m. Friday, city police said.
•Anthony R. Thompson, 24, of the 600 block of Wyncroft Lane, was cited for public drunkenness after he was asked to leave the 300 block of North Mary Street, which he did. He then returned and caused a disturbance around 2 a.m. Friday, city police said.
•Matthew Arnold, 23, of Columbia, was cited for public drunkenness after he was seen stumbling down the sidewalk in the first block of East Main Street, Mountville, at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Manor Township police said.
•David A. Guacci, 21, of Mountville, was cited for public drunkenness after he was seen stumbling down the sidewalk on East Main Street near Bridge Street in Mountville at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Manor Township police said.
DRUG CHARGES: Mario Bou, of the 700 block of South Lime Street, was arrested for possession of marijuana at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Ephrata, borough police said.
Bou was driving in the 100 block of Washington Avenue when officers pulled him over for a vehicle violation, police said.
•Leroy T. Freeman, 37, of the 1200 block of Union Street, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 500 block of West Lemon Street and found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, city police said.
•Patrick J. McDonough, 31, of Willow Street, was cited in the 300 block of South Queen Street for possession of two baggies of heroin and a syringe just after 1:30 p.m. Friday, city police said.
•Rafael Rosado-Diaz, 29, of the 400 block of South Queen Street, delivered three baggies of heroin to an undercover police officer in the 300 block of South Queen Street at 9:25 a.m. Friday, city police said. He is in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $35,000 straight bail.
ASSAULT: Kevin Slimak, 26, of Ephrata, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Ephrata and charged with making terroristic threats and simple assault, borough police said.
Police accused Slimak of assaulting another person during an altercation and threatening to kill the person with a knife he was holding.
INTRUDER: State Police investigated the report of a person entering the garage of a home in the 1000 block of Oaklyn Drive, Brecknock Township, Saturday.
Police said the intruder came in through an open door at about 4:15 a.m. but was scared off when an occupant yelled to her dogs.
REGISTRATION THEFTS: A registration plate was taken from a car parked in the 200 block of North Christian Street between midnight and 2:15 a.m. Saturday, city police reported.
Another registration plate was reported missing from a car parked in the same block between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. Saturday, police said.
A third plate was reported missing from a car parked in the 500 block of North Plum Street between 3 a.m. and noon Saturday, police said.
•A registration plate on a car parked in the 400 block of South Lime Street was taken sometime over the past three months, city police were told Friday.
RETAIL THEFT: A 15-year-old girl was cited for retail theft after she was caught stuffing two bracelets worth $9 into her purse and leaving a store at Park City without paying for them around noon Saturday, city police said.
•Tayla M. Finks, 20, of the 400 block of High Street, was caught putting $240 worth of merchandise in a bag and leaving a Park City store without paying for it just before 3 p.m. Friday, city police said.
Kim Puig, 18, of the 400 block of High Street, was also caught stashing $509.99 worth of goods into a bag and leaving the Park City store without paying, police said.
Both were taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $3,000 straight bail.
CRASHES: A car driven by Joshua R. Cullen, 24, Nottingham, was traveling west on Soapstone Road when Cullen failed to stop at a stop sign at Little Britain Church Road and hit a car driven by Raymond A. Yoder, 25, of Peach Bottom at 10:08 a.m. Saturday, State Police at Lancaster said. No injuries were reported.
•Traveling north on South Muddy Creek Road, Jeffrey Hibshman, 43, of the 800 block of Broad Street, East Earl, lost control of his car on a curve and struck a tree at 6:52 p.m. Friday, East Cocalico Township police said. Hibshman and a passenger, Josh Raser, 23, of the 300 block of Pfautz Hill Road, Stevens, were taken to Reading Hospital by Reamstown and Fivepointville ambulances. Hibshman was listed in stable condition Saturday. Raser, who suffered a broken leg, was released.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A mailbox belonging to Mark Brown, of the 100 block of Honeysuckle Road, Little Britain Township, was blown up by a pipe bomb at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, State Police at Lancaster said. The explosion could be heard over a mile away. Police are asking anyone with information to call 721-7667.
•Andrew Graham, 22, of Sadsbury Township, an employee of D&K Trucking, 423 Quaker Church Road, Sadsbury Township, was cited for harassment and criminal mischief at 5 p.m. Thursday after he damaged a company truck and struck Albert Foard, 51, of Cecil County, Md., also a company employee, who attempted to restrain Graham, State Police at Lancaster said.
•William Steele, of Blue Gill Road, Little Britain Township, told State Police at Lancaster that his mailbox was damaged Thursday.
•James Jones Jr., of the 100 block of Keys Road, Fulton Township, told State Police at Lancaster that a large pile of rubbish was dumped on his property and several windows were broken between June 12 and Thursday.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: Edwin J. Garcia, 28, of the 1000 block of St. Joseph Street, was cited after he pushed a woman in the 100 block of East Lemon Street, causing her to fall over a bike and chairs, injuring her back, at 7:11 p.m. Friday, city police said.
HARASSMENT: Lonnie Lee Rolinski, 36, of the first block of Stevens Road, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness Friday, East Cocalico Township police said. Rolinski initially hit a clerk at the Sunoco A+ store, 1404 N. Reading Road, with a beer bottle at 1:45 a.m., causing face abrasions, police said. He was picked up when police responded to a domestic dispute at his residence at 2 a.m., according to police.
•Nicole L. Bill, 22, of the 200 block of West King Street, and William Martin, 27, of the 200 block of South Queen Street, were cited for harassment after Bill allegedly hit a 22-year-old woman several times with an open hand and Martin punched her in the neck and pushed her to the ground around noon Saturday in the 200 block of South Queen Street, city police said.
•Tyreek K. Brown, of the 400 block of Fremont Street, was cited after he grabbed a woman, 30, several times and hugged her after she told him to stop in the 200 block of West Strawberry Street around 1 a.m. Friday, city police said.
WARRANT: Phillip M. Whitted, 28, of the first block of Holly Lane, was stopped in the 300 block of East King Street, for a traffic violation and found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to pay just before 5 p.m. Saturday. City police said Whitted also was found to have a small amount of marijuana and crack cocaine.
•Antonio I. Morales, 29, of the first block of Dauphin Street, was arrested on an aggravated assault warrant in the 500 block of North Duke Street at 4 a.m. Friday, city police said. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $25,000 straight bail.
