A bomb threat caused the evacuation of the Wal-Mart store at 2030 Fruitville Pike today, police said.

At 10:34 a.m., a 911 call was received by Lancaster County-Wide Communications indicating that there was a bomb inside the Wal-Mart, Manheim Township Police reported in a press release.

The store was evacuated by police and store employees. Portions of the parking lot were also blocked off. With the aid of a bomb-sniffing dog, the store was searched but nothing was found, police said.

The parking lot and store reopened at about 12:30 p.m.

At this time, it appears that the call was a prank, according to police.
