Ephrata police are investigating the theft of 11 used industrial-size HVAC indoor blowers from Trout Run Storage, 592 W. Trout Run Road. Ephrata police Sgt. Philip Snavely said the units, which are used to heat and cool industrial spaces, were stolen sometime between Thursday and Saturday.
The aluminum and stainless-steel structures most likely were stolen to be sold as scrap metal, Snavely said.
Each is valued at approximately $1,400.
Snavely said a large truck was probably used to steal the units.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Ephrata police at 738-9200.
