Hostetter was driving south on Fruitville Pike, and his vehicle struck a vehicle operated by Robert Colfer, 62, of 1818 Amity Drive, which was stopped in traffic, police said.
The impact pushed Colfer's vehicle into a vehicle driven by Brenda Mertz, 37, of 151 W. Sixth Ave., Lititz, police said.

A car driven by Jaelene L. Weaver, 23, of Lititz, rolled over early Wednesday morning on Clay School Road in Clay Township, Ephrata state police said.
Weaver was driving a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta south at a high rate of speed and missed a right curve at about 2:15 a.m., Trooper Joseph R. Hartranft said.
The car crossed over a double-yellow line and struck the curb, a mailbox at 55 Clay School Road, and a fire hydrant before it rolled over, Hartranft said. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the southbound lane.
A witness heard the crash, saw Weaver crawl out of the car, and gave her a ride home, Hartranft said.
Weaver was later taken to Ephrata Community Hospital. She is being charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicants, the trooper said.
