Meet the composer

Milk rocks
Here's your chance to sing with Rascal Flatts live on stage.

The Country Music Association, Country Music Television, American Music Awards and People's Choice award-winning multiplatinum country superstars are joining the Milk Rocks! promotion of health and nutrition.

As part of the campaign, a "Be a Milk Rockstar" contest will kick off March 1.

The grand-prize winner will have the chance to sing with the band and meet with a Lyric Street Records A&R representative.

To register, go to www.milkrocks.com, and pick your favorite of five available Rascal Flatts songs. Participants can upload their own karaoke-style video recording of the tune, to be voted on by the Milk Rocks! online community.

The top 10 vote earners will win signed Les Paul Gibson guitars, plus Rascal Flatts CDs and posters signed by the band. A grand-prize winner will be chosen by Rascal Flatts from the top three on April 15.

Contest rules will be explained in the band's prerecorded messages at www.milkrocks.com and on more than 100 million milk cartons and 40,000 school-lunchroom posters.

The Milk Rocks! program, which launched in September 2007, has recently been featured in "Billboard" and "The Hollywood Reporter" and has attracted American Idol star Elliott Yamin, Hilary Duff, The Cheetah Girls and Mandy Moore.
