Traffic on Route 283 in western Lancaster County was tied up today after three collisions within a short time.
According to emergency dispatchers from Lancaster Countywide Communications, nobody was seriously hurt.
The collisions, two in the eastbound lanes and one in the westbound lanes, occurred shortly after 8 a.m. in East Hempfield and Rapho townships, dispatchers said, slowing down the morning traffic.
By 9 a.m., only one police cruiser remained at the scene, dispatchers said, They expected all wreckage to be cleared shortly, allowing traffic to resume its normal flow.
