Reading quarterback Malcolm Williams scorched Penn Manor's defense for three scores and 144 yards on 13 carries, and completed 8-of-15 passes for 100 yards as Red Knights (1-1 league, 1-4 overall) beat the Comets 35-13 Friday night in Reading.
Williams hit paydirt on runs of 40, and 45 yards then capped off his night with a two-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
Williams' teammate Fraquan Gaston had 18 carries for a team-high 147 yards. Gaston also had a 16-yard TD run.
Carl Christmas finished with 128 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown for Penn Manor (0-2, 1-4).
Wilson 38, Cedar Crest 10: Steve Huber started off the Wilson scoring with a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and then let his arm do the talking.
Huber led the Wilson (1-1, 3-2) attack through the air, completing 11-of-17 passes for 180 yards, connecting with Pat Zerbe on an eight-yard touchdown pass. Then Huber hit Chris Hartzell for a 13-yard TD.
On the ground, Jake Stopper scored twice on runs of five yards, and had 11 carries to lead the Bulldogs in rushing with 81 yards. Crest fell to 1-1, 2-3.
Northern Lebanon 47, Annville-Cleona 0: The Vikings scored on their first three possessions to go up 20-0 after the first quarter and rolled over A-C (0-2, 14).
